The Archive of Art in the Camps and the Traces of Vietnamese Boatpeople in Hong Kong.

Photo Exhibition: Oct 2020 - April 2021

The exhibition comprises of artwork produced by Vietnamese boat people that were in the camps in Hong Kong in the 1980s.  The art has been collated by artist Evelyna Liang Kan who, throughout the 1980s, taught art to the Vietnamese in the camps. In order to visually explain the boat people's journey, I was invited by Evelyna to display 30 photographs, taken during the same era, at the exhibition. The Chinese University exhibition was held in the university’s Main Library and ran between October 2020 and April 2021.
