Title: Hong Kong Society’s Book Fair in London
Shots from the Hong Kong Society’s Inaugural Hong Kong Book Festival which was held at the Cavalry and Guards Club in London. I was very pleased to be invited to join other Hong Kong writers May Holdsworth, Vaudine England and Simon Roberts for the ‘In conversation with the authors’ panel event.
Many thanks to the Society’s chairman, Tom Wright, for moderating the talk and to the Society’s Fiona Duong and Lindsay Jones for their superb organization of the event itself. It was a pleasure to meet so many of Hong Kong’s accomplished authors. It was also good to catch up with Martin Barrow GBS CBE, former chairman of the Hong Kong Arts Festival, amongst many other roles.
